We are two everyday Canadian citizens…..Lucia and Catherine.…..who are concerned about this very urgent issue of climate change that affects us all, and we have been learning together what scientists recommend are the needed changes making the most difference. Scientists recommend one, high impact positive action that anyone can do, right away- Plant a tree. Help to grow the local and global tree canopy. Trees and Climate Change...
Global warming and climate change are complex, admittedly. It will take many people and groups working together to find, and put, long-term solutions into action so that Planet Earth exists for future generations to come. However, we also are learning that not everything is complicated, long-term or beyond reach for individual citizens. Fortunately, it is actually in our power to act now.
Scientists say that this action can have among the most immediate and cost-effective impacts to slow global warming, and really works to offset carbon emissions. Plant a tree to grow the local and global tree canopy.
